How do you make friends on myLot?

I think that it is neat the myLot has a friends option. I have a couple of friend requests alreay. I was wondering what is the best way to make friends on myLot? Also, what is the proper etiquette? Do you visit your friends discussions? Do you ask people to be your friend if you like the kind of discussions they have? In general, what is being a friend and making friends on myLot all about. Thanks in advance for the help.

best way is to befriend users who have similar interests and that are active! That way you can comment on their discussions easily because you like the same sort of things. I don't believe there is any "etiquette" about befriending people on mylot. If people don't want to befriend you, they'll just deny your request to be friends. When I am active on mylot [which i'm currently not] I get all my friends discussions emailed to me and then i reply to them first before looking around mylot for new discussions. That way I get to know my friends better plus in turn, when I start a discussion my friends will comment for me.
