Mobile Phone - Do you switch it off during nights?

I just leave it as is. I don't turn it off. Sometimes I recharge it. I guess I could turn it off since it isn't close enough for me to hear it ring when i go to bed.

Well I do swtich off my mobile phone everynight, because there are many local clients who also calling in nights, I mean after working hours too, so to avoid disturb from my clients i do switch off my cell after 10:00pm night. I feel mobile is not everything for life, there is life beyond the mobile phones.

I never turn my mobile phone off unless I am in a hospital, school or theatre when I switch it to silent mode! At night I leave my phone set normally and use the alarm on my mobile if I need to get up early! xxx

I don't turn my mobile phone off during the night. I even adjust it to loud mode so that I can hear whenever someone is calling. And I usually set it to alarm to wake me up.

I often switch off my mobile phone in the night, sometimes i maybe forget to switch off it, then I will receive some strange calls, but when I begin to receive it, it suddently rings off after only one ring. I often turn off my mobile phone, when I don't want to receive someone's calls, even in the day. Sometimes i will miss some important calls, then I will be angry with those people that I don't want to receive calls.

My mobile phones always on except when its battery run out. :-) I don't switch it off during nights or even put it on silent mode just like you do. I just leave it on all the time even if its charging.

I usually switch off my mobile phone after 12:30am as my son who is working in out station used to call me at or before half past twelve in the late night. After that I will switch off my cell phone straight away because I don’t want to be disturbed when I’m sleeping. Secondly my mobile phone battery could last longer as well. Normally I will switch it on at about eight o’clock in the following morning. I don’t have to worry for missing any urgent calls as we have our house telephone.

I worked on a night shift and i sleep during day time. I need to make sure that i always get enough sleep. so i turn off my phone everytime i go to bed just so I wont get disturbed.

I do the same thing. I never turn off my cell phone even though none will call me. My only chance to turn off my cell phone. It will be takeing a airplant.

I will stay at home,so u can understand from it that i cant get any calls.I am not employer,so i dont switch it off during nights.I think some people keep their phones in silent mode,vibration mode in order not to disturb from their sleep.But i think it is bad to keep their cells in switch off/silent mode,as no one calls u for fun sake,if it is urgent only they call.Then why people are doing like this i cant understand

I always leave my cell phone on unless it is charging...That way if I'm out and people can't reach me and it's an emergency they can get ahold of me or if I'm downstairs doing laundry and I can't make it to my house phone and it's important they can call my cell...

i never switch my cellphone off..it's on 24/7 i dont want to miss any important messages or calls.

No, I never switch off my mobile phone even during nights. It is always in its average or highest level of volume just in case of emergency.

I never turn off my cell phone.I do not even put it in silent mode during nights, just in case some emergency call might come up during night. Typically the ringer volume is always on, except for during the time I am working during the day, at that time I have it set to vibrate so that it is not going off while I am on the phone with clients. Other than that though, my phone is always turned on and the volume is always turned up

i keep my mobile phone on all the time. because some of my friends working for some call centre and the often call me at night. some times my girl friend call me at night in any time and i will have to attend that call too.. i dont disturb from it too... you can say the main cause for this is i am not working and i have too much time to make me disturb ...haha

i leave my cell phone on all the time even during the night and i don't put it on silent mode if is no necesary.so i put it on silent mode if my girl goes hardly asleep and avoid somebody call me and distract my baby from sleeping.after she gets deeply into sleep,i turn the phone back ringing out of the silent mode.

I never either, we never switch off unless it is essential like for flight take off time or in any conference or meeting otherwise only when signal is not available sometime in the underground.....only then my mobile sleeps

i keep mine on but i do not pick it becose the calls are for my sister ppl do not call me only one person and he do not call at all

No i never turn off my mobile phone at night,just in case of emergency they might call,but every Sunday when i was in church i always turn in silent mode.That was the day that i turn off or silence my mobile phone.
