No myLot Notifications? Check Your BULK Mail

I saw someone talking about this Sunday, I think. I have Yahoo as well, but none of mine that I am aware of went to my bulk mail, but I did notice yesterday I was finding posts under new discussion three hours of them showing up in my in box. So I do think Yahoo is having some sort of glitches here lately. I will keep my eye on my bulk to be on the safe side.

The Glitch is from Yahoo that is why I do not use it anymore I use my Gmail account and I never have this problem with my Gmail account in Yahoo it happened all the time

I have no ideal.I use hotmail an verizon.But i have notice mylot sending me notification on discussion that had started a week before i got the email..So mylot is slow of sending notification.I would say it is yahoo not mylot since it went to your junk folder.But you could email mylot an see what they say.

I'm not sure - I have yahoo too and have noticed that myself....I just move them back into the inbox.

lol No honey I am not laughing at your post - just the irony ! I started 2 posts on Sunday, one about missing notifications, the other that I had found LOTS of notifications in my spam folder going all the way back to Thursday. You obviously didn't get these as they went to your bulk folder and got deleted! I thought it was maybe Yahoo too but people using other email providers also experienced the same problem so I am not sure what is happening whiteheather! I marked everyone of the notifications as not spam and moved therm to my inbox and so far have not had a repeat but I am still checking. Oh and before I forget someone has also found notifications in the trash file! xxx

I don't really know where the glitch is, but I check my bulk mail everyday anyways just because I know there can be glitches like this. I have found many mylot notifications in the bulk mail, I am guessing that it happens when you get a mail surge and they don't sort right, it used to be just specific notifications now it can be any of them.

It would be yahoo, not my lot. I use outlook express for my main email address, so there is no bulk folder. My Lot notificatiuons shouldn't be going anywhere else. There should be a way of indicating which emails you do not want to go to your bulk folder with yahoo. I still get notifications, but many of my lot friends are disappearing!

Just when I thought I was experiencing this alone, until now the problem still isn't fixed. I am still getting myLot nitifications in my bulk mail.

I found an email from a regular friend in my bulk mail today and one a couple of days ago. That was a total of two and neither are from mylot. I use Hotmail so that suggests it's their hiccup. It doesn't make sense though. I can't believe the number of friends that don't seem to be posting any longer. I miss them. I'm glad to see you're still around. :)

Oh ! yes ! I've also noted this ..most of my notifications have gone to the bulk folder instead of the usual inbox format . Anyway i got no mails unnoticed .

I open my email from mylot this morning and had close to 70 emails and most of them were old and had been deleted. I believe we have the begining of a government conspiracy to control our minds and bowel movments.

i thank you for the advice.i just checked my bulk mail and found 341 notifications. but i also noticed that i didnt make any money in three days

Hello whiteheather39, I just posted the same discussion a few minutes ago. I realized this about a few days ago. Very seldom for me to check my Bulk folder and I normally delete them all. But I was lucky that I checked it last few days and found that all my notifications from My Lot were there. Until today, I don't really know why this thing happened.

hi whiteheather, the glitch is from yahoo..i had put up a discussion regarding this and i found out it was yahoo glitch..as my friends had advise me to do you might wanna do this as well..add the mylot address..discussions@mylot.com so that your notifications will go straight to your inbox..i did and it worked for me.

Hi Heather, I wash my mail clean with MailWasher (gosh sounds like a 1950's advert), then I use Incredimail as my e-mail programme, I set up filters in it so e-mail from MyLot filters to a specific folder. I can also check back in MailWasher for a number of days to see what I have deleted (and can bring back deleted Mail from it although I don't know how long the deleted mail can be retrieved from). I've checked the properties of the e-mails I've received from MyLot and they look the same as some I got a month ago.

This has been going on since last Thursday for some reason...But mine come through in spam, I only get a couple come through in normal mail and the rest 150 + come through in spam...I dont know where the problem is from I just hope that is does get fixed.

This came up a day or so ago with another poster, but she didn't say who her e-mail was with, but the same problem. I had told her that I had heard Yahoo is filtering like crazy. I have my spam filter turned off with my Yahoo e-mail, plus I don't use it for myLot. See if that helps, or I know you can have a couple of different boxes with Yahoo, open a new one just for myLot, whitelist it, and see if that helps.
