bugs!!!!!

I have a 6 foot kids pool in the yard. I was cleaning it out and that spot where the pool was smelt like horseyuck! The bugs came in sworms. How do you deal with them? HELP!

Hi,
Yes I remember those days when I had a pool in the backyard and had this exact problem. There really is no solution for little pools that do not have a filter system. The only trick is to clean it out regular and then change the water on a regular basis. If you do not change the water regularly, bugs will breed in the pool and it just basically becomes infested.

I have a filter but it is the wet grass around the pool that the bugs like. The smell is gross.
