why is english language became the global communication?

have you ever been curious why english is the global communication? I mean why not my language? why not your language? Maybe because english is very much used on the early generation that's why it became globally. In addition, the world understand more the english language. What do you think

I think the economy plays a main role in the language. When your countries are developed, then your languages will become much more important around the world. Besides, English is easier to be learned compare to other languages.
