I had seen a story recently about Michael J Fox appearing in political ads without his Parkinson's medication to show the effects and plead for voters to support candidates who support stem cell research. Now I just heard that Rush Limbaugh of all people is blasting him for "exploiting" his disease. I think this is ridiculous. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and own position, but why attack the man for passionately wanting to find a cure to this disease that is hurting him???? What do you think?

What Rush Limbaugh said about Michael J Fox was uncalled for. Michael is not exploiting his disease for sympathy or whatever else Limbaugh said about him. He's just trying to show the world what Parkinsons does to a person in hopes that more people will donate and/or do what they could to help find a cure. I think Fox is doing a good job raising awareness. Limbaugh was way out of line with his statement. If stem cell research can help not only Parkinson's disease, but other diseases like Cancer or even AIDS, I think we should support those candidates who are trying to find cures and what not.

"Exploiting" his disease? I hadn't heard what was said but that's...arg! I suppose Chris Reeves was exploiting his status as well because it couldn't possibly be that M.J. Fox atually cares about others or anything. How annoying.
