I got this recipe from a friend of mine. It's simple to make and the family loved it. 1 lb. Ground Beef 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 1 bag of tater tots Cheddar cheese Cook the tater tots first, then when they are just about done, cook the meat.....Drain it, then mix the meat with the cream of mushroom soup.....fill in the bottom and sides of a deep baking dish with the tater tots....then fill in the center with the meat mixture and then cover the top with tater tots. Put cheddar cheese on top of that and bake until the cheese is melted... in order to make sure it is hot throughout this needs to be put together at the same time the meat and mushroom soup has been mixed together and simmered for about 3 minutes....which gives you enough time to fill in the baking dish with the right out of the oven tater tots.

I showed this to my fussy teenager and she admits that she thinks she might like it so I am printing it out and will make it sometime. We do eat a lot of tater tots. The only thing is my daughter's dislike for a lot of melted cheese (I don't know how a kid can love pizza but not like anything else with melted cheese on it). Thanks for this.

She loved it, though I think it could have used more cheese (you didn't specify amount). Thanks for the best response mark. :)

My ex's mom made this awhile back for a family gathering, it was a big hit. I think if I made it I'd add a some chopped mushrooms to it.
