May the days go by as seconds. May you hear from them and smile knowing they are safe and will be home soon! I don't personally have anyone over there, but my oldest daughter does. This is the second time her daddy has gone over there and I've sat and cried with her and I've watch as she smiled ear to ear every time she hears from him. So this is for all of you who have a Daddy, a Momma, a Husband, a Wife, a Brother, a Sister, an Aunt, an Uncle, a Cousin, a Friend who are serving in Iraq or surrounding areas. May they be safe and be home in your arms soon! May God bless and keep you together!

I miss my husband and this just makes me sad when I read this, but proud that he is over there. I know it is hard for your daughter, but it also makes her treasure her relationship with her father much more than most kids do. She knows every second counts. that is very important. I know that it is harder on the kids than it is for us wives or husbands because their hearts are so pure and there is so much they don't really understand.

Thank you for your kind words! You are right. It is harder on the children, but it doesn't mean it isn't hard on everyone else. May God keep your husband safe and bring him back to your arms soon!

Thank you kindly for your supportive words. My husband is an active duty Marine. He just returned from Iraq in Feb and will be going again in Oct/Nov. It's good to know that there are people out there who are supportive of the troops. I know a lot of people don't agree with the war but I think it's important for people to see the distinction and know that you can be pro-troops even if you are anti-war. All your thoughts and prayer are much appreciated.

I'm happy to hear your husband returned safely to you! I'm sure he will be safe the next time he goes. There is always hope that all of our troops will return soon! I will admit that I'm not for the war but I'm very supportive of our troops we have! Many blessings to you and your husband!

We do support our troups. It is so sad that they have to be there but they are there so we need to support them with all our thoughts and prayers. I have many relatives in Iraq also. We worry about them all the time and wonder if they are safe.
