Puffy and the mother of his twin girls and older son broke up. It's reported that he is going to pay her $1,000,000 a year in child support. Would you have a child by a wealthy person just the the big check? Why or why not

If the babydaddy was P.Diddy then YES I would have his child LOL! I cant believe shes going to get 1 million a year, I mean thats great for her and the kids, maybe it would be a wake up call to these guys that think they can go around makin babies without takin care of them.

Thats rediculous. I dont think its right. I know that child support is based on a percentage of the dads income, but it only allows the ex to become greedy. Ive read in magazines where ex wives of celebrities get 30,000 a month in child support and demand more. Where does it all go to!? Like hell it all goes to the child. I think its great for dads to step up and take good care of their child, but big paychecks like that just arent necessary.

i don't know what world you live in, but if a man i had a child with said i am going to give you a million bucks a year to take care of my child. i would not say no. If someone is making 5 million bucks a movie and making 5 or 6 movies a year, and I am suppose to get 11% of that, you better trust and know i am going to be right there with my hand out and ready

Well I just dont think that way. If he was offering, any lady would be willing. I just dont see the point of always going to court and trying to get the amount raised higher and higher. Its greedy. Its not about the child anymore becuase with 30,000 dollars a month, theyve got a pretty comfortable life. The mothers are just doing it out of anger, and revenge, and i think thats wrong.

Honestly she particularly is isnt in for the money, she also have another child for him she was the lady he was with when he cheated on her with JLO and he also saying he doesnt understand why a man should have one wife so I think he's the player and not he she wants a serious relationship.

If he giving me a million dollars to help take care of my son I wont mind. Proberly before my husband and I was young and vengeful yeah but then agin I want a father figure in my child life also a family life on the hold so I dont think so really .

Hmm... well they were together for a long time, weren't they? I hope she was in love with him if she had 3 kids with him.I would never have a baby with someone just because they were wealthy, though.

I have to say this in light of all that has happened. I believe he owes her THAT and then some. They were in Essence a few months back, and after the article was written, someone wrote to the effect that why wasn't this woman married to him? because it seemed as though she didn't value herself at all for him to make her his wife. And he even admitted that she deserved a husband to love her and all, but yet, after he dallied with J-Lo and others, he want to come to this beautiful sister and do that, but then again, we don't let no one do what we don't want them to do either. OK, I ran my fingers enough. I don't know if having a child for a rich person is worth it. I look at the baby mommas of Biggie, Naz, now Puffy and from what I can tell, they may have money, but but it's like they don't have much else either. If I just had a child for a famous person, I would be trying to have a home for me and the child, work on getting better skills so that when the child got grown, I can be self supporting for myself; I mean, what are these women going to do once the kids get grown? are they gonna put some of that bank away? be for real.

I think that if I was in love with the person, and they were a good role model and father but just happened to be rich, yes. But if I knew someone was rich and I decided to go after him just to get pregnant so I could get a million bucks, no.

Well most states the law requires that child support be based on a percentage of the fathers income. I am sure puffy can afford it. And the children remain in the situation to which they are accustomed. Personally I wouldn't have a child with anyone I didn't love - but shy do you assume that is what this woman did. She may have loved him at one point, maybe his lifestyle just got to her. Regardless of why the mother had the children they still have a right to be supported by their father.

I couldn't do it because I don't think you should use a child for ANYTHING and that includes money. It might be tempting because a million dollars is a lot of money but I rather not take it there. LOL
