You can't stop awing when you see the tarsiers. You'll find them cute because of their furry hair and soft body. Some get scared because of their big googly eyes. You have to be careful handling the tarsiers, their heads are very soft, so pat their heads lightly. Did you know that tarsiers know how to commit suicide? It has been reported that some tarsiers were so traumatized by captivity that they committed suicide by beating their heads against the cages or drowning thmeselves on the drinking bowls. And here's another thing, when they are lonely, they turn their heads greater than 360 degrees to commit suicide. That's why when I went to bohol, I noticed that there's always two tarsiers hanging in every branch, a male and a female. The Philippine tarsier is a shy nocturnal animal that leads a mostly hidden life, asleep during the day and only active to look for food during the night. I pity these little tarsiers because they can't even sleep during the day because of the tourists and visitors disturbing them. If I were a tarsier, and can speak, I would tell them, "Hey! Get me some sleep, will ya!" hehehe...too bad tarsiers can't speak to humans...hehehe
