Does anyone has the experience about such? You keep on asking yourself what hinder you from becoming successful in life, even how you've been trying and doing your very best to get on top of every life's successes and goals wanting to achieve...but still seems like you're too far from reaching all those. Do you ever get to thinking that maybe then, there is really something that holds you back from your success? If so, what are those?

I think being distracted by others and worrying what others is one thing that can do this.

Exactly Kim, I believe too that those are some reasons that kept us from doing what we need supposed to be doing in life.

The "habits" that hold me back most of all is ego. But there again, if it didn't hold me back, there would be no challenge, and if there is no challenge there is no achievement. But there again, there is nothing really to achieve, because it is all transient anyway! That is a Zen point of view LOL.

For me the one thing that hinders me from success is not being able to take risks and my negative thoughts about things.

Better not to take risks if you knew yourself that you really can't, because if you will only force yourself to do one thing then it will only leads to failure...but on the other hand, challenges are also good to face to conquer out all fears. :-)

Gambling and just all out laziness as far as education is concerned. I could do a lot more to improve my career and make more money but often find myslef being lazy and just enjoying life.

Success...to me it is something that you can do consistently over time...with ease. Sometimes success eludes people because they don't know what they want and are not willing to work for it...or they get involved with 'get rich quick' schemes that sound too good to be true...and ususally are. Personally I do not measure success outwardly...by the car I drive, clothes I wear or the house I live in. I measure my success by my sense of self...whether I am living by right principles...walking my talk, trying to make a positive difference in the world, having integrity and treating others as I would like to be treated. Am I always successful in meeting those goals all the time...of course not I am human. However...as I live my life on my own terms and try to do the best I can in a disciplined, focused way...I have enough successes in life to motivate me to keep on keeping on.
