Diabectic Specialist told my Husband-------

I found out my Husband had been using out dated bottles of Insulin, no wonder why he was all off track, that explains everything, she told him that was wrong for him to keep the bottles over 30 dys, she said he should threw the bottle out after 30 dys, because they were no good. I didn't know this, today when I get home from seeing the doctor, I am going to threw away all his old bottle because they are no good, If anyone is a diabetic here, did you know that? if you are not, I think you should make your love one or friends know that it is not good to keep insulin bottles longer than 30 days. also tell them to check with their doctor too, because every doctor is different but I think that is the reason why my husband was getting sick, and sugar keep dropping, it isn't that potent when it is kept longer, why Husband told the Doctor He was keeping it to stretch it because he could afford to buy more. anyway the Diabetic Special and Doctor said don't do it. Ok, I half to leave to go to doctor for My knee but I will be back soon, Happy Posting, or have a good day at work, or Have one good one whatever you are doing. Thanks Marcie.

Before 3 years, I have been buying insulin for my teacher, and he has also put injection in his stomach.

My uncle is diabetic, and he puts injection every day. He had a hearth attack before 3-4 months. He is receiving insulin before 1 year. He puts insulin every day in his left hand with injection.

Thanks for the information. I know that most medicines lose their potency as they age. Most medicines have a date on them that says when they should not longer be used and they should be thrown out.

Marcia, Glad to know that you were able to figure out what had your husbands sugar all off balance. Hopefully, he will be feeling much better soon.
