I have a dream catcher but still have nightmares and a very good friend today told me you are supposed to shake the dreams out of the window if not daily, then at least once a week or they get all clogged up!
Well, I shall be giving mine a good old shake out of the window tomorrow but I wondered if anyone else a dream catcher and they didn't know that you have to shake them, they certainly didn't tell me when I bought it!

I have ever heard of that. I also have a dream catcher. It makes sense to shake it now that I think about it though. Thanks for sharing that information!!

They are like vacuum cleaners if there is nothing to pick up then they do not need to be cleaned as often as when there is a lot to be picked up. In other words, if you have a lot of bad dreams and they get caught in the dream catcher you need to clean (shake them out the window) to clean them up. If yo only have good dreams then they do not get filled up and do not need to be cleaned as often. Walk in balance

I didn't have nightmares until I got a dreamcatcher. Now that is weird. I got rid of it and don't have the nightmares. My son made it for me and I thought it was very nice of him, but I started to have nightmares. I didn't know you were suppose to shake it.

Maybe that's what I need to get!
For the past year I've slep terribly and have some of the oddest and creepiest dreams. I don't know why I didn't think about getting a dreamcatcher before.
I never heard about the shaking of the dreamcatcher thing either. but let me know if it works!
