I just use vinegar. Put vinegar in a bottle, spray and leave on for awhile and it will be easier to clean after that. The strong may be a little strong but it doesn't last for too long. And it's a cheap, natural alternative :)

Yes, vinegar works well. Adding some lemon to the vinegar gives the cleaning a fresher, more pleasant smell & even helps with the cleaning.

What else does vinegar work for? I've heard it's used a lot but I hate the smell of it. But if adding the lemon works I might be able to handle it LOL.

I put a few drops of orange essentail oil into a bottle of distilled white vinegar. Give it a good shake before each use as the oil floats on top but the combination is a very poweful cleaner and it smells really nice. You can use this all round the house, just dilute it for painted surfaces but use it neat almost everyewhere else.

I use baking soda mixed with limes. It cleans very well. When you ready to rinse, use just plain water with few drops of limes or vinegar...works. p.s. salt, soda and vinegar are working for all kind of cleaning...I add limes for better smell...

What about eucalptus oil. This is made in Kangaroo Island, South Australia. A pure, natural oil, it is known to be a good cleaning product. I use eucalyptus washing liquid. I believe it is sold overseas. Here is a site that will explain the marvelous benefits of eucalyptus for cleaning & other uses. http://www.fgb.com.au/CommOil.htm

I use cleaning products from a company called Seventh Generation. They sell them at the Whole Foods market, as well as some general grocery stores (Like Safeway or Kroger) They are 100% natural, biodegradeable cleaners, I use them for bathroom, kitchen, laundry, dishes - you name it!

I use a product call blast it works very well for me. I don't have a glass shower though but i do use it on the back of the shower sense i only have a curtain up. You may want to try that, Their is also something else I've used but it's expensive and i can't think of it right now but try blast and it should help get that soap scum off your shower!

i heard about this sometime ago. i heard also that vinegar is a very effective and multi purpose natural cleanser. it can also help remove bad odor. i am not so familiar with soap scum but do you mean stains caused by the soaps?
