We all have a heart, of course, but some of ours' are damaged a little bit. Particularily if we have had a heart attack. Now, a new study suggests a way we might be able to have our own hearts grow replacement cells for repair! What's next? Growing a whole new heart? I hope so. To read how these heroes of science are pioneering this great advancement in the field of cardiology click this link. http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Science/2007/07/18/study_suggests_heart_tissue_can_regenerate/5685/ Where do people like these scientists come from? How do they do it? What advancements in science, medical or otherwise that you have heard about that may be just on the horizon?

That was a fascinating read and quite hopeful! I knew our liver was the only actual organ that can regenerate itself, but this sounds really promising. They continually make advances in treatment of heart disease, thank goodness. Thanks for the info.
