Has anyone ever set up the Dark Side of the Moon album to the Wizard of Oz??? I tried this awhile ago and it's pretty sweet. I would say that it helps to have a little something to make it more interesting, but it's really weird how some of the timings of the movie and the album hit so perfectly. So I wonder, did Pink Floyd intend this or is it magic???

LOL! I've heard of this before but never tried it. I doubt Pink Floyd did it on purpose, but I've got to wonder about the first person who figured this out! Did they have too much time on thier hands or what?

You are sadly mistaken. Please get your Floyd facts right-Floyd actually were humongous Wizard of Oz fans and when Dark Side was released in 1973 and they went on tour, the background on the stagescreen behind the band were clips from the film-until Disney found out and threatened to sue. The recordings of Dark Side were formatted to play with "Oz". You have to press play on the album after the third lions roar (VHS) at the beginning of the film (the MGM lion roaring). Cool, be safe and serene....

No, I do not think that I have tried that before. I should try it sometimes. I am not sure if it was magical or not. Maybe who really knows?

i did this. with the little something extra to make it more interesting. i found it more enjoyable that way expecially since my version was lacking the original audio from Oz
