Been on a cruise?

I was thinking it might be fun to take a group cruise next summer. I was thinking family reunion but I'd much rather just go with those closest to me, the my mom, the bf, my best friend and her husband and my godson, my fave uncle & his wife, another friend and her son. So about 11-12 of us. Has anyone ever been on a cruise as a group before? I've never been on one period so I'm clueless! What lines do you recomend? What ship did you cruise on? Had fun?

I have never been on one myself but sure sounds like alot of fun. I will have to keep my eye on this discussion and see what we can find out. Whatever ya do I hope you all have a grand time!!

Thanks! I tried to schedule a family reunion cruise last year but nobody rsvp-ed including my own mother (who I live with, lol). This year I'm going to do more research, give people enough time to save up and send out formal printed newsletters instead of an email. Maybe that will cat their eye?
