Are you a bathroom singer?

Dear friends, I know everybody loves to sing and there is a hidden singer in everybody. But do you prefer singing in your bathroom, while taking bath. In other words do you consider yourself a 'bathroom singer'. I myself love to sing in the bathroom because no body is going to critise my poor singing over there and donkeys will also not gather around me! LOL!
Once I visited my friend, I was told that he was in his bathroom...I noticed that he kept on singing...till he finished his bath..when he came out...I asked - "Why were you singing continously in your bathroom?" He replied - OH! my bathroom's door lock has broken, so I cannot lock my bathroom from inside...I wanted to tell others that I was taking bath and please do not disturb me and do not peep into the bathroom.........LOL! HOpe you like it.

hey deepak, quite a humorous discussion..hope you will get some real funny responses.
Iam not a bathroom singer but i like to murmer some beautiful lines while a song is playing but dont have the guts to sing loud because my voice dont suit for singing.sometimes out of curiosity i sing a little loud and my home people will laugh at me..
but i have heard my elder brother singing while bathing..

i can sing. although i am not really one of the bests, but i do sing in some occasions and i love singing doing karaokes. you should try it, too. it will improve your singing skills. believe me. it will be embarrassing at first. but when you learn the techniques, it will be easy. all you need to do is be familiar with you voice capabilities and make us of it. practice can improve a person!
and yup. i love singing in the bathroom, too. i love singing songs there or just making some hums. it makes me forget some stress and worries in life... anne

That was the nice way of reasoning out why he have to keep on singing in the bathroom!
I myself is a singer in my own stage..the bathroom ha!ha!ha
I just don't why? but I really love to sing while showering and all that but it is one good practice to make the golden voice more golden as you preserve it and only use it on the bathroom..ha!ha!ha

Yes, i am guilty, i always have this radio on at the bathroom and when i hear my favorite song playing, boom! microphone soap with bubbles is on, i am like in a concert and i think i am very professional at it. And when you hear your voice in the bathroom, you will feel you have what it takes.

Yes sometimes when I know that no people around, coz
my bathroom is not that big and my house too and we lived in a compound house that someone will hear me in the bathroom If I will sing.
I know I don't have a good voice, I rather dance than to sing hehehe...

haha, that's actually pretty funny.
I do enjoy singing, and sing pretty much any time I am listening to music. However, I do find that I tend to sing more in the bathroom. I guess there is just something about the shower that brings the musical side of people out.
You say you won't be critized by others if you only sing in the bathroom where people can't hear you. If you heard your friend in his bathroom, maybe others can hear you? hehe

I am what call you call it frustrated singer. I always loved to sing when I was in gradeschool and highschool. My first attempt to be one of the choral memeber was a disaster, i did not pass the auditions. The next attempt was in highschool which I gladly passed and have enjoyed the practices and the exposure in presentations in school activities and outside school activities. When i reached college I continued my dreams and the joined the folk singers guild and was accepted.
Now that im already working I would settle singing in the bathroom and try not to sing as loud as I could for I know my housemates would be annoyed with my songs. I often sing out loud when Im the only person in the house coz thats the only time I got for myself and theres no one who will be disturbed with my noise. LOL

What a creative way your friend employed to tell people he is in the bathroom. If I were him, I would have a player on or a note at the door.
I do not sing in the bathroom. I am more worried my singing will attract people to the bathroom and I would be in greater danger then. They might pull the door down instead. lol.

Well I sing in my bathroom, kitchen, prayer room, sometimes outside, sometimes with my friends, sometimes while talking on phone so bathroom is not the exception .. but this also doesn't mean that I sing daily .. lolz .. well I am not that shy about singing and I don't mind .. whether someone call my voice bad or good .. I keep on singing because I love doing that. Sometimes I really feel happy while singing .. I believe that singing makes us feel more relaxed.

I liked your response very much....because you know singing is such a things...that it can change your bad mood to good mood...and you only sing when you are happy from inside. It is really interesting to know that you sing...irrespective of the place...and it is more interesting that you sing on phone also...I wish I could hear you singing....???

to be honest with you, the bathroom is the only place that i will sing. lol. im so tone deaf, i wouldnt dare put anyone through my singing. lol

I don't sing at the bathroom.The reason isn't my terrible voice ,I just don't do it.I can sing while listening the radio and doing cleaning at my home but not at bathroom.
PS:I loved the story of your friend and the reason that make him sing while taking bath.....

I learn't not to sing in the bathroom when I was younger because I found out that everyone who was around could hear me. I didn't like that I could be heard so I only sang when I knew the house was empty or when I thought the house was empty. I sure didn't like it when I found out my brother was sleeping down stairs and would come up stairs laughing his head off!

I can say I like to sing while shower. I dont know it just make situation nicer I guess. But actually have a home karaoke myself at home. If I wanna fell like a singer I can sing there. Now I can be both bathroom singer and real one. Ha... ha...

Oh yes I love to sing in the bathroom, its comfort and it dont matter if your out of tune. I wish my bathroom was a recording studio, you can get some good sound effects in the bath lolz, but really I always sing and like to think im singing in front of a live audience lolz.
