I prefer home made food but sometimes it is not possible to make it early in the morning. The catering in trains and planes is very tasteless but it is better than fasting.

Hi there. Yes very much so, we're always taking food on standby for all our trips and sports ventures, that way we dont have to stop and spend unecessary, because we usually pack everything we need... This way of travelling is so much more cost effective and also cuts out stop over time, as we can all eat as we go...

Dear Nardz13, You are right. While travelling if we have own food it gives pleasure to eat at our own convenience and also keep our health out of problem. Thanks for sharing your comments.

it depends on what home made food i'm going to bring. if it's a sandwich, i prefer it home made. coz i really like my sandwiches plain, with no garnishings or condiments on it. i'm so picky with my sandwich that i prefer to make it myself. for anything other than that i prefer to buy while traveling.

a mixture of both i guess. i always prepare something... but if i am still hungry i do not hesitate to buy food. i prepare it at home, coz automate sandwiches don't taste so good
