Do you find it difficult to select a best response?

I am going to be trying to focus on selecting best responses over the next few days. I find this a difficult task because I tend to have a hard time choosing favorites. Is it easy for you to choose best responses or difficult?

Some discussions are easier then others for me. I have some discussions that I can always find that best response easily. There tends to be that one person that sticks out who seems to have really paid attention to the original topic and gives good advice. But other times I get so many great responses it's really hard to pick just one. And everytime I pick one it never fails the next day someone comes along and posts a responses that's even better.

Hi there. There have been a couple of times, where I could've given out 3 or more best responses, due to some really quality reponding from some of the mylot community... But unfortunately there has to be one and only one, thats when it becomes hard to choose... I agree, its definetly difficult...

Hi miamilady I sometimes find it to difficult in selecting the best response. Whatever one jumps out at me thats the one I pick. The person who you think deserves it.

Not at all.Its a tough job to award best responses.I have many unresolved discussions and marking best responses daily to get my job done. sometimes some responses compete with one another and its difficult to choose between them.sometimes i turn in the pages again and again to read some responses when i have dilemma to choose.

I have that dilemma too, because there are more thatn one response to my discussion that deserve to have a BR but then we only have to choose one. So that is the problem. Some times, I have already chosen a BR and then comes along another response that is worthy of a BR too! So it results to having lots of unresolved discussions.

If it according to the guidelines, gives on topic response and is personable. Then it should be easy. One liners and just because they are a friend is not a qualifier. It is a process and when done judiciously then it is truly a best response. I wish you luck in this participation at this site.

Sometimes it is difficult. A lot of times it depends on the subject of the discussion. And then again some people are just better at expressing themselves. Of course sometimes the people are just silly. Who me? LOL!

I don't post as often as most on here but when i do and get so many good responses, its even harder. I tend to pick the one that makes most sense to me (even though it may not to others) and that it is something I can put into practice or use in real life.

I have no problem choosing the best response if the discussion is of certain difficulty and garners less than 20 responses. I have difficulty only if there are too many pages of responses, not that I have difficulty selecting one, the difficulty I have is browsing through the pages successfully without getting the white screen. lol.

It can be very difficult sometimes to choose a best response honey but I do enjoy reading all the responses again , although sometimes one response jumps straight out at you and you know it is the best response! It is also a very good feeling when you have cleared up all your unresolved discussions! My only piece of advice is to enjoy it - it takes all the stress away when you enjoy reading all the responses people took the time and trouble to give to you , so go have some fun honey! xxxx

Yes, I have had difficulty with this as well. I have chosen a few, but I too need to work on choosing best responses on the others that I haven't done yet.

If I have quite a few responses it takes me awhile to pick one as well. It's hard too because sometimes I'll have 2-3 responses that I think are fantastic. Maybe MyLot should come up with an "honorable" mention award or something.

Do I ever!!! I procrastinate to the point that if you saw me in your head, you would see me like a child dragging my feet and going as slow as I could at mentioning selecting best responses. Please! Not that! I'll read all the news articles first! But not selecting the best responses and clearing out my unresolved issues. I can't do it! Don't get me wrong...I do it...I just don't do it every week...it is more of a once a month thing. ha ha

lol Thanks for your response! I did it once a while back and selected a few. Then I started doing it again when I started this discussion. I have selected quite a few but I still have a humongous backlog! I'm trying to whittle it down.

I have a real hard time picking a best response. I always get a lot of good replies and it tears my heart sometimes to have to pick just one. I have a whole page of unresolved discussions that I just haven't been able to choose a best response for. I just make sure I rate everyone positive and hope that someday I can do it.

There are times where it’s very hard to select a best answer, then on the other hand there are times where it’s just the opposite. I personally look for a well thought out detailed answer, but the truth is you cannot always get these kind of answers because the question does not always require it. That’s why I like to answer only thought provoking questions.

Not yet, most people don't respond to mine, I guess it's because most of mine are about sports and no one really likes my team or something.
