Glasses Or Contact Lenses?

I have contacts for during the day and glasses I wear at night, but I do prefer wearing contacts. I don't like anyone outside my imidiate family to see me in my glasses hehe. Contacts all the way!

I have both purple contacts and glasses. I dont wear both actually. I feel kinda ugly in my glasses, and with my contacts it sometimes makes my vision feel blurry, or sometimes grey when the contacts bug my eyes. I dont know why, I wonder if im the only person that experiences that.

My eyesight is pretty bad and I have been wearing corrective lenses since I was 12 years old. I started with eyeglasses that grew thicker every year. I hated wearing them. They were heavy and being a teenager with eyeglasses is no picnic. By the time, I reached college my prescription keeps increasing. The doctor decided to have me use hard contact lenses to stabilize my eyes. It was the most painful period of my life when it came to eyewear. The contacts were painful, and made my eyes easily irritated with every puff of dust or wind. I went back to wearing glasses. A few years later, I decided to give contact lenses a try again, this time opting for soft contacts or gas-permeable ones. I loved them and are still wearing them for almost 10 years now. They are comfortable to my eyes and I will not give up the peripheral vision they give me that no eyeglasses can. I still wear my eyeglasses only at night when I have removed my contacts before going to bed. Hands down, its contact lenses for me.

i have astigmatism and my doctor requires glasses. i also prefer wearing glasses because i dont have time wearing contact lens. i find the application very complicated.

I actually have decent vision and don't use either, but as you get older, your vision tends to get worse. I plan on getting LASIC eye surgery to correct it when my vision gets bad. This way, I won't have to worry about wearing glass and my eyes drying out because of contacts.

Yes, I am nearsighted and prefer actually love wearing glasses.

I prefer wearing contact lenses as I think I look better and I do not have to keep pushing up my glasses every now and then when it slips now my nose. I used to wear them everyday but after hearing so many stories, I now wear them alternate days so as to give my eyes some 'breathing space'.

I am short sighted but prefer to use glasses. This is for hygiene, and convenience reasons. They are also cheaper, easy to maintain and easy to clean.

I wear glasses. But contact lenses are better than glasses. Because no one could point out that my eye sight is weak and I am wearing some thing like glasses. Spectacles or glasses are not expensive than contact lenses. Contact lenses can be fixed after labor and risk of eye operation. So I prefer the glasses than contact lenses.
