It's not so much the rain and snow as it is the barometric pressure. We have had rain and thunder storms, followed by hot, sunny and muggy, followed by more thunderstorms, followed by cooler temps, followed by hot and sunny. This all since 4am this morning. I'm surprised I am not prone right now, but I am too busy to stop and let the pain affect me. I am probably going to crash tomorrow because I am working through this madness of weather. For some people they don't mind the cold as long as it is a dry cold. I don't like being cold at all. My legs get cold, they ache. I put a hot beanbag on them, or even put a heater on next to me, my legs warms up and the pain eases up. Word has it that Arizona is the best place for a fibromite to live as it is very dry there. I guess we just have to make do with what we have. Rain really does bother me, but what's worse is the up and down rollercoaster weather. Take care!

Gday jeannebean OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH someone else who is affected by the cold and rain on one hand i know we need the rain real desperatly but on the other my body is drivin me nutz. I am relatively new here last couple days will post more when able to I promise some things that ahve tried and helped greatly unable to afford right now due to financial position :( Re your question through the years have been led to believe like a previous respondent said these sensations been more due to the barometic fluctuations than anything temp wise per say. At times is hard to have a positive outlook but find havin a weird sense humour helps so always rely on me monty pythonisms to get me through :) Take care and smile besides it makes the docs wonder what ya up to lolol :)

Yes I feel a lot more pain and more sleepy. The winter living in Canada is horrible, plus my just as a cleaner is much more busy. The summer is so much better, not just for Fibro but some of it's 'friends' Raynauds and depression. I think some animals have the right idea by hibernating during the winter lol.
