Once in awhile we hear about a judge who actually knows a real case from a frivolous waste of the court's time. U.S. District Judge John D. Bates seems to be that kind of judge.
Valerie Plame attempted to sue specific members of the Bush administration because she says they violated her rights when they exposed her as a CIA operative.
Once again we see a witch hunt come out of this whole "outting" thing. Once again, everyone seems to be plamed but the one person who actually did the deed... if indeed a deed was done at all.
Why is it that the name Richard Armitage never seems to come up anymore?

Armitrage's name never comes up because the democrats got what they were after...they managed to railroad a member of Bush's administration into a conviction over some technical BS while at the same time causing embarrassment to Bush.
As soon as they found out that Bush was not directly involved then they lost interest, they no longer cared who leaked the information.
They don't care about the rule of law, they only care about appearances and political gamesmanship.
Now they have managed to make Bush look bad and that's all they care about.
As far as Plame is concerned, she is an idiot, and I can't help but wonder why she was discussing CIA business with non CIA people, namely her husband. That reeks of a breakdown in security on her part.
As the article said, she really doesn't have a leg to stand on, and her husband is ultimately responsible for her outing when he used information that she supplied in order to challenge Bush on Iraq in the way that he did.
Her own husband set her up to be outed as soon as he used the information that she gave him.
The good thing is that it is going nowhere in court.

Agreed. The DNC is nothing but a pack of kindergarteners whining that the milk and cookies aren't the kind they wanted.
