much RESPECT to parents of more than one child!!!

I just want to show my respect and awe for people that have more than one child. I have one and she is a hand full daily. I could not imagine having more than one!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my daughter more than life itself, but she is ten now and the fun has just begun :-)
When I see people that have more than one I just sit back and watch with complete amazement. I have a friend at work that has three children and she handles them so wonderfully, always finding time to show each child they are loved and just as important as the other two. Not to mention she is divorced, she does it all by herself!!! That is a whole nother story, I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire a single mother (or father) that has more than one child!!!

Oh definately! I could manage to be a single parent wit one child, but I don't think I could with 2 kids!

I take it your son is very young. I used to think the same thing. My kids are five years apart and I have made it fine. It gets easier as they get older. I don't know if I could handle anymore of my own though!

that's exactly why, at my age, i don't plan to have anymore kids although most of my friends and close relatives would say i need to have at least one more. i got a 16 y.o. son and i practically raised him by myself especially during those crucial period of his entry to adolescence (i got divorced when he was 10). i tell you, it was tough. and of course, i'm not done yet with this tough motherhood job up to this day. that's why like you, i salute those mothers who can handle well more than one kid!

sometimes it is hard to have more then one child and if they are single parents gosh more power to them. but we love them all.
