When I prepare some recipe and by mistake, it does not come out tasty, I feel the whole of the day thinking about it and taking self pity on me. It spoils my mood for the day. I know it is not good but I cannot avoid it. What about you? What will you do and how do you react?

Like rectification entry in accounts, some magic you must do in cooking too.

Yes, also this is true. You should try to "hide" somehow with adding other ingredients, so the smell or the taste won't be so horrible.

Also I will be not feeling good, but I will learn and never repeat that mistake again, first I will try to understand what was the mistake, and never repeat it. Just it is not so important, to get mad about it. You can't make everything perfect.

That is true Stmartin. But it affects my mind for a day. I must change my attitude.

I know how you feel. I will also feel bad but will learn form the experience. God knows how many disasters I've ha din the kitchen. At least I have never forgotten to add the sugar in a cookie recipe, my sister did just that the first time she bakes. I ended rolling everything in caster sugar so that we could eat it. Some we also dipped in sweet chocolate. Too bad, but it was nice though.

I did not put lemon juice for lemon rice and sent it to my daughter. Evening she comes and says mumma it was very nice. I did not know whether to laugh or cry.
