I have asked myself this a thousand times, if i did or said half the crap kids say nowadays to there parents or elders, I would have a hand mark on my back side.

The more you chase respect, the more it'll run away from you. It would be nice to stop bothering about being respected and start being respectful. We need to move beyond our egos and be the change we wish to see in the world.

Respect is definately lacking in people today. Kids for one thing.. i know so many kids that are disrespectful... All kids are not angels.. and it is bad when a kid that is 3-12 talks to you with an attitude. I have had a few kids in the neighborhood talk crap to me and I put them in their places. I tell them that I don't know who they think they are, but I am an adult and you are going to talk to me with respect. I make sure the parent heres me too.. that way it doesn't get mixed up.
