We all get them at least 2 or 3 times a week. They come begging and wanting you to join them. You are preapproved and just fill in the blanks and you are supposed to be accepted. They have your name on them so do you just toss them in the garbage. Is that a safe thing to do? Are there people out there lurking and waiting to go through your trash to take those applications and fill them out and send them to steal your identity? Do you have a paper shredder or do you just tear them up then put them in the trash? I have decide to save mine and then put them in the outdoor fire place and have a nice fire starter. What do you do with them? Those pesky credit card applications.

I just put them in the recycler. I don't get that many. But if someone did try to get a credit card with my info they would be denied denied denied. I can't get any credit at all. I went bankrupt a few years ago so try all you want, noone will give me credit.

I use a cross-cut shredder to turn them into tiny little confetti. I shred most of the papers that we don't want, but rolling them into logs for the fireplace sounds like fun. It might not be good to burn them in an inside fireplace though because of the chemicals and dyes in the glossy paper. You are lucky to have an outdoor fireplace!

We were separtinh the trush and if there was papers like this we would not put it to the paper, since somebody can read it or use it but just regular to the trash. We were just thinking nobody is going to go thorugh the trash. But you never know, so I should start to shredd them at least.
