I really don't understand the concept of "dating" much. I think I'm more into "going steady" so to speak. I mean, I wouldn't cuddle with someone or kiss someone if we weren't actually a couple - it just seems like a waste of time to me. But then, I guess other teens might be a little different than I am. I'd just like to think that they also prefer a bit of stability when it comes to their relationships. It bothers me when parents tell their teens that they shouldn't be going steady because they're too young...why would they discourage fidelity in their child? I never understood it.

It depends on the type of person, some guys take things seriously and its too dangerous for such persons to try out for affairs at a very early age. dating a guy or a girl is not a big issue but its the first step to an affair. But in another case its ok to go out dating at early ages as it makes them more matured and learn to taste the bitterness or sweetness of love.

To date is not at all socially allowed in my country. But teenagers do date. Dating is no harm, it helps in many social situations which otherwise teenagers did not have know also when matured. But Dating should be limited to good relation, no serious relations. If it goes more intimate better to date with parental permissions.

I think it's actually a good idea. It'll help out when it comes to interacting with people around their age. I don't see the harm in it as long as things don't go too far. I don't see it as a bad thing but I see it as a good thing. If it's something like going to a movie or something like that, it'll be all right. I guess it more or less depends on the situation and what type of relationship forms out of it.

IT's a simple answer for me too, teens should definitly be allowed to date. It's all part of learning how to handle different social situations, and while you're young it's easy to experiment with those social situations until you know what kind of people you enjoy socializing with. As for how far the relationship should go...that depends on age and maturity for me. When you're 16-17 and above, the relationship can in some cases become quite serious and still be between two mature individuals.
