Does anyone believe in mood rings? Do you think that if you put one on and watch it change colors that it is actually working? I put one on before and it turned a kind of light blue. Which meant that I was having mixed feelings. And in fact I was having mixed feelings about everything at that moment.

I used to think they were reallycool and completely believed in them (when I was 12-13 years old). It din't take me long to figure out that no matter what mood I was in it was always dark blue. I figure the reason for the different colors has to do with different people's body temperatures.

I don't believe in them. I think there must be a scientific explanation for their changing color; for example, they probably change color depending on your blood pressure or your temperature. For example, if the ring is red, then your blood pressure is high, assuming that you are angry then (I'm not sure if these are the exact colors, but you get my drift). For people like myself, who have low blood pressure then, the ring would always be a blue color? I'm not sure exactly how it works, but there's definitely a scientific explanation that doesn't relate with your mind, but rather with the finger the ring is on.

I have a mood bracelet that my mother had when she was growing up and she would wear it and it would either turn green or a very pretty blue, I dont know what the colors meant but the moment that I had put it on it would tur grey or black, I dont know what those colors mean either. So after wearing it a few different times and thinking that it no longer worked I got it out one day when my mother was here and as soona s she put it on it changed to the blue color again. And I though wow and I put it on and grey it went. My sister also was there and put it on and it turned to a greenish color. Back to me again and back to grey almost balck it went. I thought that becasue I have a hard time finding jewelry that I can wear and all the earing I have had in the past my ears have turned them black. That maybe there was something in me that made it do that, since I am the only one that has ever made ti go those colors.

Not really, since they're made of a type of liquid crystal that reacts depending on body temperature. While body temperature DO differ depending on how one feels, it differs too much between individuals that the rings aren't reliable... but they look pretty nifty :)
