Has anyone tried to train travel overnight with children? I'm thinking of taking my two small children on a trip to Los Angeles, but how are the seats for sleeping? (We can't afford sleeping rooms.) Thanks!
I've only ever done a day trip solo, but the seats on most of the Amtrak trains I've been on have been very comfortable and I was able to nap on the trip. Just make sure it's not a commuter train.
