How do you react when someone died because of you?

I suppose it is a difficult reaction,and you cannot react quickly and you will never believed it. But it is true, he/she died because of you, maybe saving your life, take his/her life because you break up with them, because you take your love away for them. and when you found out that gone on to tragic end, what will be your reaction, can you accept the fact?
