do you think actor is more important in movies?

So far as I know ,there are many successful and great movies in which ordinary actors are starring because the movie has a great and wonderful story. However ,there are some movies whose story is not attractive,they are very popular among people because some stars are in it. So which shoule be more important?actors or stories?

as far as i m concerned i care more about story than the big stars.But that does not undermine the role of acting in a movie.No movie can be succesful without proper acting.Big stars or not,but the acting has to be good

I think the most important is the story. But as more as famous actors are acting in the movies, the movies are being more "attractive" for the people.

yes in some cases it's important but when you come to script and story there is no need of actor. it depends on the story the it require or actor or not
