niger delta unrest

All those criminals using kidnap-for-ransom as a source of income are just bringing shame to Nigeria. Why is it that any news you hear on BBC or CNN about Nigeria is always negative? Cant we be known for something good for a change? In my opinion, probably declaring some sort of Martial Law in the Niger Delta area may be a solution for now to that problem.
