Do you answer your phone when you are home or do you let the machine pick it up?

yes ,because i am not runing away from any bill,so i feel free to answer it when ever i am arround ,any way i have only cellphone.called mobile

i always do cause you never know it could be really important like if you won a new car or a million dollors

Hi there catwoman! It depends what kind of mood i'm in.

I have caller idea and my phone also has a nice feature that after the second ring it tells me who is calling.....So I can hear who it is before I run to get the phone. It sometime it doesn't say the name of someone I want to talk to then I don't run for the phone. We also have a feature with our cable that the Caller ID shows on our TV too. It's pretty neat.

I let the answering machine get it or someone else in the house.

Only answer it if I know the number is someone I know AND want to talk to

When I don't want to be bothered I turn the ringer off. I know longer have an answering machine. God Bless

I gave up on answering the phone so I always let the answering machine get it.

Don't have answer machine... so of course I pick it up...

I check the caller ID before picking up every time. If it's a number I don't recognize I let the machine get it.

Thank goodness for caller id. If I don't know the number and I am late on a bill, I wont answer it...so leave me a message telling me it is you and I'll call you back!

I always look at the caller id. If i know the person i pick it up. If it is a bill collector i let machine take it or i answer it and hang it up right away. It just depends.

I have caller id so I know who is calling and if I don't want to talk to them, I ignore it, otherwise I answer it.

I answer almost every call, if it is a solicitor I just say Not interested or hang up, but it is usually people I know.

We answer the phone, it is mostly friends or my kid's friends.

my machine do the talking... bcoz i try to avoid troublesome conversations esp to girls(some girls are really annoying)
