All I can say is they took the longest book and made it into the shortest HP movie. It was a good movie, but you must remember, the book is ALWAYS better then the movie. In the past, before the new HP books came out, I would reread the previous ones as a review, but I did not do that, because I knew if I reread the book, I would not be happy with the movie. I enjoyed the movie, but a lot was left on the cutting room floor.

I agree good movie but so much was cut that it was hard for young kids to follow.

We watched it last week. It was good but since I read the book it was easy for me to follow. But My youngest hated it and and other two kids didn't fully understand what was going on. My sister didn't care for it either. Books are way better and I got the new one today YEAH! Vicki

I saw it last week. It was really good actually. This one focused more on Voltemort (however you spell it =P) and harry than harry's life. I also saw transformers the next day, i would recommend both.

Books are really much better than the movie coz it is already detailed.. But for transforming it into a movie is a very hard job for the director and its staff since they have to select which ones should be taken out... Good thing about reading it first before seeing the movie is that, you can understand the rest of the story even if it had skipped some details... it will make you feel ok rather than lost...

To be honest I actually preferred Order of the Phoenix to Goblet of Fire, it had much more action, more darker, more fun and far more enjoyable. I would highly rate the new film and would recommend it to anyone Harry Potter fan or not. It was also funny and I actually want to see it again with the last Harry Potter film once was enough. It's amazing that the biggest book was made into the shortest film. It's worth waiting for!

Ah the book has always been much much better than the film. if you do not want to be disappointed watch the movie first before reading the book. if you have read the book first, the tendency is you will look and anticipate for many great events that only got deleted in the film. Anyways, its on theater now, but i have not watch it on theater yet. I do not want to go in the theater alone. I had watched the order of the phoenix online. In onlinecinema.org and in gofish.com. The copy in gofish is a lot better. But still watching in theater is more exciting than just watching in a small pc screen. I heard that the last 20 minutes of the film was in IMAX. maybe that was the scene where harry, ron, hermione, loony and ginny was in the office of ministry and they were fighting with mr. malfoy and beatrix lestrange. Ahh it must be very good to watch that scene in the big screen.

no, it's a let down...worse than the goblet, i think. there were a lot of things that weren't explained. a lot of things that weren't mentioned. it's like you entered a warp zone, where things just came out of nowhere, everything fast forward. even the order wasn't explained carefully, to think that was the whole point of the book. don't get your hopes up. and there were a lot of changes. it was a bummer.

i live in ogden arkansas. to be honest my town is population 214. i think that is counting the dogs and chickens too. lol. we dont have a gas station, grocery store, nothing. we have 3 churchs though and a community center with small play ground. other then that we have to travel about 20 mins to get to a store or anything and that is once you hit the hwy. from my house you are looking at about 37 miles. with the price of gas we dont go to town often

I havent seen it either but i was talking with a friend who has and he believes it to be the best movie yet, but he says it is quick and everything sems to be packed into it. And there are some things that arent in the same order as it is in the book. he said that it is the longest book and the shortest movie. But non the less I cant wait to see it. I have read the book and will be interesting how they put it to movie because it was a pretty jam packed book from cover to cover.

yes i've seen it and i'm disappointed. it is overrated. all exciting scenes from the book was deleted. it was literally 'murdered'.

Well, I have to admit that in comparison to the book it was a bit of a let down. But in all fairness...that's a long book and it'd be hard to get everything in. As for being a good movie though in general, I definitely thought it was.

I watched it last Wednesday and it was really entertaining, though I didn't like it that much... I did LOVE the final battle between the Aurors and Deatheaters, and between Voldemort and Dumbledore, but the whole movie wasn't as good as I expected after watching the trailers... I did like Goblet of Fire, though :P don't know, even if a lot of things from the book were left out of the movie, I think it still had a lot of tension and action, specially during the three tasks!
