Does countries like US & UK experience power (electricity) failure?

Hi friends! I am curious about know whether countries like the United States of America and the United Kingdom (England) experience power failure? Because here in my country, we experience anormouse power failure and sometimes because of transformer. What do you think about countries Like US AND UK when it comes to electricity? Thanks

My answer is yes. I heard from the news that there are power failiure in US and UK too. Some reasons are due to typhoons, earthquakes or bad weather like turnado and flash flood. We know these countries are rish that they build large power plants with automatic back-up, but when the nature ask for it then they can resist it. But they are lucky to have all the means to restore power in a very minimal down time. God bless!
