I was changing the sheets on my 14 year old sons bed today and found a bunch of Playboy magazines. I don't know if I should say something or just pretend I didn't see them. What would you do?

Just pretend you didn't see them. He's growing up and he's bound to be curious. Confronting him would just be so humiliating for him - and probably embarrassing for you, too!

I'm with you on this one-I'd rather see a Playboy, where the girls are made to be beautiful and voluptuous rather than skanky and degraded. If it were me, I'd sneak them back under the mattress-but remember where they are for future reference. You can always check in to see if it's getting "out of hand". (No pun intended!)

I know I'd rather catch my son with a Playboy Mag than some of the other garbage out there. I personally would have to confront my son and tell him how I felt about the issue. I realize boys are curious and their bodies are changing due to the hormones. I feel deeply that feeding those photos in your mind only promotes a low value to a woman. I would share with my son how I felt when I found the photos and what they represent to me. Why I'm against them and share what the Bible says about....just looking at a woman with lust in your heart is wrong. Basically, all those thoughts, feelings, arousals....are intended to be enjoyed and shared with their wife someday....don't ruin the surprise/gift.

That is the hardest part, and there is no perfect way to deal with.

It doesn't really bother me that much. He's a teenage boy I guess I expected it sooner or later. I just feel that because I'm a mom I should do something.

I think it is pretty normal, I wouldn't worry about it I think all kids go through that, I am not sure you should say anything, kids can be very sensitive at that age, maybe just pack them up and put them under his bed...then he will know you know and know embarrassment...

Well you as you know he is a teenage boy and it was bound to happen sooner or later, I mean it is normal, I don't think I would say anything, he would probley be very embarrassed and think you were looking around in his room.
