Conference call is a telephone call inwhich the calling party wishes to have more
than one call party in listen to the audio portion of the call .
The conference call may be designed to allow call party
to participate during the call,
or the call may be set up so that the calling
party calls the other participants and add them to the call.
In some cases, the call party merely listens into the call and cannot speak.
If you have had it, please, your experience with others.

I had to do a Mary Kay conference call one time and it was my first time. It was really akward and I wasn't really sure when I supposed to talk. I think there were 6 or 8 people and the call. I ended up not even talking that much and I wasn't sure when to hang up either. The call was technically over, but people were still talking. I dunno...maybe I made too much out of nothing.:P I hope I don't have to do anymore anytime soon though.

It was akward because there were so many people on the call and I didn't know anyone else on the call. You didn't really know when to talk either because other people would start talking over you if they didn't hear you. Blah!

it is amazing.
I believe since it is so clumsy kind of conversation
nobody will understand each other very well.
what of the cost, is it cost effective?
it might be noisy as well.
hhymmn..

i had a conference call meeting i think 3 years ago, i havent remember much, but i think we call our supervisor who is in singapore and we are here in the philippines, you have to listen well, because its hard to discuss a formal meeting to someone you cant see personally.
now, i often have conference call with my friends, which is fun, but this is more of 3-way talking, im only one at my phone and they are at their own house. its fun and you can discuss things and get answers right away not waiting for the other to know it. coz you are already talking at the same time.

oh that is wonderful,
do you mean that three of you can contribute
to the discussion at the same time and you heard yourself fine?
it amazing, i have not had such before.
what if there is disagreement, how do you resolve that,
like you said the person is your supervisor and you have some arguement with him,
how do you reconcile that?
