Quality or quantity when you are purchasing items?

Let's say you were going to buy some bed sheets. Would you buy a cotton/poly blend for $30, knowing that they may not have lasting power, or would you spend $100 for high thread count cotton sheets that will last a long time? This example can apply to any other kind of purchase.

Well I would definately go for quality every time. I don't like man-made materials, or cheap, badly made stuff, - never have. I know you can buy three cheap items for the price of one more expensive one, but, to me, that cheaper things always "looks" cheap if that makes sense, and won't last so long as the better variety. Maybe I'm a snob I don't know - LOL - but it's quality for me every time!

I'd go the a discountstore andget 3 of those sheets you pay $30 for and know that if I wash them correctly, and take care of them, they'd last every bit as long as those $100 sheets

I think I will purchase a high threa count cotton sheet though it costs me $100. In my opinion, I will spend more on something to live a better life especially it concerns my health. Because I believe that nothing is valuable than health. Of course, I don't think something costs more means value more.
