Whenever we are under stress, it can be reduced by mingling with our pet animals... say, if we are into the business or any other work naturally we will be under stress sometimes but if we are wise enough think of our pets which come around us and if spend our time with them, definitly we will feel refreshed and we are comfortable. keep a dog or cat or bird or any other pet animals at home makes us feel happy. It comes around us and plays like small children. Have you enjoyed the gestures made by those pets? Amazing...I have seen it several times and had lots of fun... As though it cant speak with us by actions it will make us understand many things.Do your stress get reduced by your pets? do you like to spend time watching them do some funny acts? share your experiances...

That is why they allow the retarded children to play with dolphins in the pond.this makes them extremely happy and they show signs of improvement in their communication skills. And you can understand everything a dog wants to say by looking into his eyes.My God how expressive are they you know.

you gave me a good idea of reducing pressure. i didnt have a pet, now, for i am in school and this is forbidden.but i have several cats in my family,my cat and her children.everytime i went home,i felt happy to see them, they are cute, and the kid cats are small and even havent opened their eyes.it's a relief to seeing them, like i've found something safe. my another way of handle the pressure is to walk in the garden,i like to see green trees, smell the fresh air,and then i feel better.

A very good post. I agree that animals or indulging with animals can reduce our stress. But will depend ...which animal to keep or which bird to keep with us...? And in turn...you will have to look after the animals/birds also, which are kept by you. deepak

In type of extreme tension and stress do we really get time enough to mingle with our pets ... I'm not sure .

yes i could understand that you have a very sweet little girl who makes you happy and entertain you all day..More than pets if there is a small lovable child is there in the family..he/she feels so happy..

In times of extreme grief or stress ..do we really find a chance to interact with our pets . I think it is improbable.

when we enter our home once can see our pets running after seeing us and come around us.They even try to play with us by taking some balls or anything which they normally play with.we get little relaxation from our problems..
