How many supervisors it takes to oversee one worker? I've been watching and taking pictures of the work going on, on our highway. I caught this picture of all these guys talking while one guy is working. I've seen that a lot. Does it seem that way to you when you see construction?

There's construction going on in my neck of the woods too...building up some kind of apartment building complex...but unlike your guys, these guys are really hauling a$$ and all are working their buns off....I feel sorry too for them....it's not bad now, but during the days it was so hot and humid it's a wonder they all didn't get heat stroke or something

It gets hot here, too. I don't envy anyone who has to work outdoors all the time. The weather seldom is comfortable.

Almost every time I see road construction going on, I see only one or two workers doing anything while the others are standing around talking. It is no wonder that they road construction projects seem to take forever to get completed. It is really surprising me this year though. There has been a road construction project going on this summer that seems to be moving right along. Every time I drive through the area I rarely see more than one or two workers standing around while the rest are working, instead of the other way around. Maybe this project will get finished soon. I am hoping so because I really hate road construction.

It can really be a pain sometimes. The dust is really bad, not to mention the delays.
