Well if you just picked up an old one for you to learn to ride I'd leave it the colour it is as then when you drop it it won't make a diffrence,lol
but I have an 89 heritage that is red, then I got a 2001 fatty thats purple and has a customized paint job with lightning on it, and I have a Bosshoss which is the v8 on two wheels and its black in the daylight but purple at night.

I think my '74 Harley is heavy, I can imagine your Bosshoss! CRAZY! Anyway, right now it is a deep purple, but when i first saw it online I thought it was blue. And when i e-mailed the guy who sold it to me, we mentioned everything except the color! Anyway, i traveled 10 hours to pick it up. When i saw it, I thought it was awesome. It is an old bike, but i have gotten so many compiments on it. Thanks for responding.

I don't think I would ever want to ride a motorcycle, but it would be fun to have. If I got to choose the color, it would be a burnt orange, with some design incorporated on it.

I think burnt orange is a good color. I am very particular about designs, as long as they are non-demonic or skulls.

If I were you I would go with whatever your favorite color is. OR if you want to have a "twin" to your husbands, then paint it the same color as his just with a variation in the design.
When I buy my HD, I will have a custom marble paint job done to it most likely. I love purples on Harley's, so I think my colors would be a dark shade of purple with either grey or black pinstriping.
Hope you've decided on your color...I see that I'm a little late in responding...lol.
