I have to admit I knew very little what became of the soldiers that complained of sickness after the gulf war in the early 90's. I recently viewed a website that talked about it and it oulined this book. I was shocked to learn that depleted uranium might have been the cause of it. Of course when I was in they were using it on tanks but we were told it couldnt cause any health problems whatsoever. I was even more mortified when I seen a video about birth defects that they believe might be caused by depleted uranium or DU for short. The following I have put as references to this subject: http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs257/en/ http://www.iacenter.org/depleted/metal_leftbooks.htm http://www.iacenter.org/depleted/du.htm I am also going to put in this video on youtube I wouldnt recommend anyone seeing it unless you have a very strong stomach and really want to know the real horrors of the cost of using DU, again please be advised its very disturbing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2tTLmR1Dyo

Thank you EvanHunter. When I was a Kid ( 21 ) I had a boyfriend , whom came back from the Gulf w/ all of the Symptoms of Gulf War Syndrome. I knew him before he left and in no way...was there anything wrong w/ him. This actually...doesn't suprise Me , but it does sadden Me. Thank you for the Knowledge. A .
