This is a good start LOL. What works for me is mybloglog.com open an account there, make sure you paste the code in your blog somewhere, next visit as many sites of other people on mybloglog, write comments there and join similar interest groups. What also helps is to make a squidoo lens with links in articles that point to your blog.
