well personally i hate crackers....well i always feel that instead of spending hordes of money on them,why dont we donate the same to the less priveleged n less gifted???why cant our hearts go out to the poor animals who just cant bear the sound???keepin this in mind....i've written a poem...pls read it and send in your thoughts THE LIGHT OGF HOPE “ Deepavali -- the festival of lights is here!!,” I hear people exclaim with great fervour. I wish to light a Diya…..feel the aura of serenity. I wish to enjoy the festival in its entirety. I hear the sound of crackers and the loud crackles of laughter, How I wish to join them; indulge myself in joy and banter. How I wish to see the myriad colours emanating from the mystifying flower pot, How I wish to dance around the bewitching chakra… How I wish…………….how I wish……………. What is light??.......How is it to look at?? Is it as enchanting as the way in which some poets describe?? Light…………has always evaded me. Yet, in the deepest darkness of my life, there is light…. Which nobody can see except me. The Light of Hope…..which will lead me into the light, Which will show me the right path from the crypts of oblivion…. THE LIGHT OF HOPE………..to live---A REASON. Friends....let us be the light of hope for the downtrodden and less priveleged....let us say no to crackers n let us help the major factor that binds us all---HUMANITY
