There is a TV ads of a specially made toothbrush having a brushlike deformation on the back of the toothbrush itself. The ad shows how to brush your tongue using the backside of the toothbrush, to flush out micro particles on your tongue's surface that are the ones actually responsible for bad breath. Have you tried this already, brushing your tongue with this new kind of a toothbrush?

yes I also brush my tongue whenever i brush my tongue up and below, just in case there's bacteria in it so i think it's better to brush my tongue too.

No, I haven't tried brushing my tongue. I don't think it would make any difference. I usually use Listerine to wash my entire mouth and it is clean and fresh.

i have a separate tongue cleaner. my dentist told me that cleaning your tongue using your toothbrush is not enough and she recommended the use of tongue cleaner.

I've heard about that toothbrush but I didn't get it. I still brush my tongue with the same kinda toothbrush. I've been doing this since forever. If I don't brush my tongue it feels weird, like I haven't finished the job! :P

well i brush my tongue for quite a while now (with special tooth brushes and regular ones) it really makes a difference, the feeling in your mouth is better and it really helps your breath... It just takes some times for you to get used to it. I have a very sensitive mouth, so it took me some time to get used to it---first few times i thought i will puke
