I have never really cooked anything very strange, but I was wondering what is the oddest thing you have ever attempted to cook? Would you cook the same thing again?

I tried to cook frog legs. I ended up leaving them on too long and I burned them. untill I have my own apartment, or house, I am banned from making them. ;) However, I would try again. givin the chance. next week, i will atempt to make roasted duck. Hopefully I won't burn the house down ;))

roasted duck is great! (all dark meat!)...I also hear that frog legs taste like chicken in a way. Just be careful and you might get a real good treat!

I've cooked many strange things, but the one that comes to mind is chicken hearts. I served them with a cream sauce and boiled potatoes, and it was very tasty as long as you kept you mind off from what you were eating. :D

My fianceƩ was fine eating it, even when he knew what it was. I couldn't finish mine, since I became very aware of my own heartbeats. XD I think it's mainly psychological though.

I make lots of vegan dishes like lasagna, burgers, cake and ice cream with things like flax, nuts, and soy instead of eggs, meat, and dairy. Some people I know think it's a little strange. Also, my mock apple pie is delicious but a little odd...it uses zucchini instead of apples.

There is a type of leaf which Mangalore people of South India cook. Once my friend gave me and it was very tasty. Once my vegetable vendor brought it and happily I bought. I made it as per my knowledge and ate. My goodness my tongue was hitching and after some time it became thick with no sensitivity at all. One week I suffered like hell not able to eat anything with a thick tongue sensation. Then I came to know that there are some special procedures that should be followed to cook that leaf. From that day I am very careful about new recipes.
