Could somebody go to the doctor to get an eye transplant as in get an eye from another person(probably organ donor) if that person only lost one eye in an accident? If so will that person be able to see with the new eye?

You can get a cornea transplant. Here are some recipient profiles... www.fleb.org/profiles.shtml

No, Surgeons have not yet figured out how to repair nerve damage. The eye would not work, and would probably just die.
