Most women go for manicure and pedicure to maintain their nails and toes in good shape. Do you think men should do that too for presentable nails (that is without the paint)?

Why not? Manicure and pedicure are done not only for beauty but for hygiene too. Even a man needs hygiene is it not?

Well, my husband gets his manicure and pedicure done regularly, that is weekly and if he is not too busy. If he gets too busy, he looks like his nails are neglected. His nails get too long and dirt gets in and it's so yucky. I think it's alright, and I must say it is advisable, that men clean and maintain their nails so as to look clean and be more hygeinic.

I know with some of the trends to metrosexual views Men are more likely to do things like manicures and pedicures, but as I am an older man, I just take a pair of clippers and take care of it myself. It is not something I am overly concerned with so just when the nails get long enough that they are noticeably ready for cutting. Unless you have a certain reason to want nails that are more then just cut, you have a job where your hands are constantly in view or need to be looking good, I can see no reason for the everyday man to worry about mani- and pedicures.

Depends, if your like a manual worker, then no, if you work on the phone, then no. If your a model or something in the public light then yes. Actors and so on then yes. It also really depends if your that vain or not.
