I loved reading Danielle Steel and Sidney Sheldon when I was in high school and college. But then I got introduced to John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, Dean Koontz, Paulo Coelho and other great authors that my interest drifted. I cannot even remember now the last book I’ve read written by these two authors but I did enjoy my times reading Danielle Steel. Her stories were very well written and gripping. My classmates and I had a great time exchanging Danielle Steel’s novels and exchanging our views about these stories.

yea i agree with you as danielle steel's novels are very romantic and emotional type so we cannot read on and on continously but it nice to read at times after some gap. I like Robert Ludlum and paulo coelho a lot. Thanks for your response God bless

my fave author is sydney sheldon. i love the twists in his novels esp that the main characters are females who seem weak but really tough and witty inside. i also like dan brown esp angels & demons. i like the brutality in it. lastly, stephen king and the many horror novels he made...

i do like danielle steel but i find most if her books rather predictable...i do like a couple of her books though... "Crossings" and "Message from Nam" are my favourites... right now i am trying to read classics such as Fritzgerald and Joyce. Currently, I am reading Hemmingway which is quite interesting. But mostly, i like to read non fiction. I am a self confessed history fanatic, so thats what i read most of the time.

Yea i agree with you as after a few novels we can predict what will happen in the end of the story, but its very nice to read after few gaps switching with other novels by another author. Thanks for your response and good luck

I hardly read novels, as I don’t have time. But I read online newspapers so that I can keep myself updated and know what happen in the world.
